“Life ain’t all #FFFFF and #00000” - A little bit of weekend inspiration!
First of all! Huge Kudos to Caleb Graham for creating this incredible behind the scenes video, he has yet again wowed us with his amazing talent! I’m really proud to have such a talented videographer on the team to document our wild adventures! although this 3:13 minute film doesn’t even being to highlight the complexities of the day!

And secondly, the Pretty Reckless editorial and video have been featured as a 6 page spread in Pilerats magazine (www.pilerats.com) check out issue #6 for this beautiful highresolution pictorial!

Earlier this year I photographed the 2012 Neverland Winter Collection. The amazing Tink has created some of the most beautiful and unique garments at such affordable prices! check out her online shop here! http://neverlandclothingbytink.bigcartel.com/

We all had such a great day photographing this campaign, big thanks too our wonderful models: Abbie Weir and Zoe Ellem, our makeup artists Tara Hoggan and our wonderful hairstylist Emily Kneller.

Quite recently I’ve noticed creatives in my area- photographers, hairdressers and makeup artists in particular, are slogging up and coming artists in their field. It’s only natural to feel a pinch of rivalry or antagonism but what they have failed to recall is that they were once ‘Amateurs’ too.
They too once struggled to understand lighting, failed to create the perfect curls or just couldn’t quite achieve that perfect smokey eye. Some people have forgotten their roots and instead of collaborating and helping others have turned their heads in condescension.
Growing and changing is all part of the art-making process, I too have come a long way since I started taking photographs 4 years ago, it’s an accomplishment to stand back and see how much you’ve learnt and accomplished just from your shear determination. When I was 14 I would have never thought taking photographs of my friends in my back yard would lead me to becoming a published photographer.
I’m so happy to admit that i’m excited to look back 5 years from now and see how much more I’ve learn’t, how much more I’ve achieved and how many more people I’ve helped do the exact same thing. Here’s a few old snaps i’ve russled up from years and years ago…ohh the nostalgia!

Inspiration is flowing quite freely for a Tuesday morning! just watch this amazing behind the scenes video by Marty Martin for the wonderful Melissa Rodwell, Just the clip in it’s self is a work of art!
