I recently shot this beautiful fresh face and was so pleased with the results, kayla has stunning freckled skin and the longest natural blonde bombshell hair I have ever seen. kayla has recently been scooped up Bettina model management, looking forward to seeing her name in lights! hair+makeup by leanne smith.

First of all! Huge Kudos to Caleb Graham for creating this incredible behind the scenes video, he has yet again wowed us with his amazing talent! I’m really proud to have such a talented videographer on the team to document our wild adventures! although this 3:13 minute film doesn’t even being to highlight the complexities of the day!

And secondly, the Pretty Reckless editorial and video have been featured as a 6 page spread in Pilerats magazine (www.pilerats.com) check out issue #6 for this beautiful highresolution pictorial!

Last night I got to help out at a bridal photoshoot, shot by one of my favorite photographers Adam Hourigan. Here’s some of my behind the scenes shots of the beautiful chaos.

5am Sunday morning - cold, wet, raining. The sky is dark, but the streets are darker, not a person in sight… Meanwhile, upstairs at Kerrie DiMattia’s Hair studio - music pumping, a rush of creative juices, clothes and jewellery flying left right and centre, an overflow of shoes and a sea of extension chords. Absolute chaos!

2012’s creative team see’s the largest collaboration yet, with a few familiar faces - Amy Fryer making a mess in the white room, alongside our baby mumma Stacey Harvey, who both pulled copious amounts of clothing items together to create incredible looks.

You may recognise a few long legged beauties, Abbie Weir, Emma Chandler and Ashley Fryer - not to mention the handsome Patrick Delaney, Duncan Webster and the ever so hungover Bryson Austin, still drunk from the night before - Kudos brother!

Our creative team couple, Casey Drew and the incredibly talented Caleb Graham - who was caught every now and again filming an odd object (I’m just going to speak for all of us and say i’m super excited to see this beer bottle)

The ever so giggly, Molly McGregor and Hayley Hooklyn who just couldn’t keep themselves from mischief, were briefly on set for the last look of the day.

And of course, the wonderfully talented team at Kerrie DiMattia Hairdressing, Kez, Loz, izza and Kate, this whole entire collaboration couldn’t be done without your help and creative design.

Amongst all the familiar faces are a few new additions to the Pixie Bella Photography creative team. A long awaited collaboration with Mickeela Tonycliffe Makeup artist + her work experience helper Sara, both did an amazing job with the makeup design and manicuring.

The 2012 Miss Unknown Winner Mollie Flynn from Coffs Harbour was spotted on set for her very first Pixie Bella Photography shoot. Mollie performed amazingly, the judges couldn’t have selected a better winner.

And last but certainly not least, the incredibly helpful Josh Dennis, who basically did backflips to insure that everything was perfect. He also contributed all the amazing behind the scenes shots, thanks so much for all your help Josh! I can’t wait to have you on set again!

TWO WINNERS will receive a Fashion photoshoot valued at $350.00. The winners will also be professionally styled for the photoshoot courtesy of Podium, Country Style Yamba, Kerrie DiMattia Hairdressing and Mickeela Toneycliffee Makeup Artist.

The ‘PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD’ winner will receive an amazing gift pack with goodies from our sponsors and exclusive Pixie Bella Photography items.
The ‘JUDGES CHOICE AWARD’ winner will receive the opportunity to appear in the 2012 annual Pixie Bella Photography 2nd Birthday Photoshoot, held on he 21st of October.
HOW TO ENTER:
1) Email a headshot of yourself to pixie_bella@hotmail.com and your photo will be uploaded to the Pixie Bella Photography fan page.
2) Get your friends to ‘LIKE’ and share your photo from the Pixie Bella Photography fan page to be in the running to win the ‘Public Choice Award’
3) The competition will close on the 7th of October 12PM EST, Then the Judges, will vote and ‘LIKES’ will be tallied. The Winners will be announced the following week!

“WHERE IS THE PRIZE PHOTOSHOOT LOCATED?”:

The Prize photoshoot will take place in Yamba, North Coast, NSW. If you are from an area relatively far away, in the case that you rank 1st or 2nd you will have to travel to Yamba - and this is an expense Pixie Bella Photography cannot cover.

“CAN I ENTER MY FRIEND?”:

Yes, you can enter another person besides yourself, but only with their permission, I cannot, and will not upload their photo without their consent.

“HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO ENTER?”:

To be in the running to win the “Judges Choice” award, an entrant must be 13+

However the “People’s Choice” award is open to all ages.

“WHEN DOES THE COMPETITION END, AND WHEN IS THE PHOTOSHOOT?”

The competition closes on the 7th of October and entries will be accepted up until this date. The two winners will be announced the following week, a date for the prize photoshoot will be negotiated between the winners and the creative team after this.

“CAN I CHANGE MY PHOTO ONCE IT HAS BEEN ENTERED?”:

Chose your entry photograph wisely, once it is uploaded you cannot change it, unless you wish to delete your entry.
